Your “mistake” doesn’t matter

An embarrassing typo to you sent to your boss. A big mistake you made at work. An awkward comment you made in a room full of people. Or the high-five that was meant for someone else. You know the one.

 

The voice in your head never lets you live it down. Then begins the rumination. The "I should have known better," or "everyone noticed and thinks I'm an idiot," or my personal favorite "I shouldn't have made a stupid mistake like that."

​​​And she doesn't just say it once. She says it on loop. At dinner. In the shower. At 2 in the morning when you're trying to fall asleep.​

Eventually, her voice became the only voice you listened to.

You’ve tried every tip, trick, and hack the internet has to offer.

You did everything you were supposed to do. You downloaded the apps, read the books, watched and saved the videos, and looked yourself naked in the mirror. Sure, it wasn’t entirely unhelpful, but none of it truly quieted that that voice in your head. Not really. ​

Because the problem was never that you weren't trying hard enough, it's that none of those methods allows you to actually talk to the voice. Befriend her. Understand her. It’s all a way to try to silence her instead of building a relationship with her.

The real kicker is that she's not even your real voice. She was programmed a long time ago by the societal expectations, people, and experiences that told you you were unworthy.

This is why
Inner Bloom was born

Through my own struggles with perfectionism, subsequent burnout, admission into intensive outpatient therapy, and rebirth into my new path, I learned to befriend my inner critic, affectionately called “Karen.”​

​

Once I took the time to understand her, my life changed for the better.

​

Ultimately, I’m not trying to help you avoid emotions or to finally reach perfection. My goal is to help you to be able to ground yourself through triggers with kindness, and to finally live a life that is more true to who you are.

Month 1 - Meet Your Inner Voice

We figure out who she actually is. Where she came from, why she showed up, and how you can better understand what she protects you from.

Month 2 - Grow a Relationship with Her

We build compassion for her. When you understand why she's scared, you can start to reassure her and soften her. We start to build capacity for moving through triggers, and I show you exactly how to ground your mind and body in the moment.

​

Month 3 - Plant Self Kindness + Self Trust

This is the good part! We practice giving yourself the same grace you've always given everyone else. Your mind finally starts to feel like a place you actually want to live in.

​

I'm in your corner throughout the 12 weeks. You'll have unlimited access to me Monday through Friday so we can work through questions, mindset shifts, and triggers in real-time.
